Description
Introduction: Ask students about their favorite fairy-tale
heroes and imagine where they live. Students tell their house’s
number.
Discussion: How we can set them from the smallest to the
bigger? (4 minutes)
Activity 1: Students play the game Rock, Paper, Scissors.
They add and subtract the guessing numbers from 1 to 20. (4
minutes)
Activity 2: Students work in the small groups and create the
game joystick based on the instructions below:

Activity 3: They use the “WeDo 2.0” software to program
their joysticks by using the example. (Look at the
Screenshot). (8 minutes)
Activity 4: Students play the game Rock, Paper, Scissors
using their joysticks and vary the number within the program.
Teacher set the timer for 7 minutes.
Activity 5: Students create the own fairy-story about the last
number and draw it. (5 minutes)
Discussion: Students present the own artefacts and discuss the
stories. (5 minutes)
Reflections: Teacher ask students to focus on how many
different ways they can effectively solve a problem. (3
minutes)
