Description:

A brief explanation of ASCII binary should be given in the beginning of the lesson. The teacher will create a scavenger hunt based on items in the classroom or outside. The scavenger hunt clues should be translated to binary and the students must use the tool to decode the clues.

Discussion:

Are translating tools like this usable in the real world?
Could you use ASCII binary to send messages to others? How?
