Description

Introduction: Activate student’s prior knowledge by beginning the lesson with Britannica Kids. Look at the pictures. Animal Cell. Plant Cell.
Discussion: Describe the cells. (4 minutes)
Activity 1: Define the similarities and differences. (5 minutes)
Activity 2: Students work in the small groups and create the game Hockey-pokey based on the instructions below:

Activity 3: They use the “WeDo 2.0” software to program their game by using the example. (Look at the Screenshot). (8 minutes)
Activity 4: Students play the game Hockey-pokey within the teams. Start the program and wait for the pause. Choose the variant of the words: the program or the Hokey-pokey. Teacher set the timer for 5 minutes.
Activity 5: Students start the video recording about the word that they have. (5 minutes)
Discussion: Students play the game Hokey-pokey and present the own video. (5 minutes)
Reflections: Teacher ask students to focus on what was new for them. (3 minutes)
