Αctivity 2: Filling out the form (See below)
Αctivity 3: Math War.
Rules:
This game works well in pairs or groups. Deal out all
of the cards and have your students keep their piles
face down. Each student flips over two cards in each
round. Then they have to perform the math operation
you’re working on in class. For example, if you’re
studying addition and they flip over a 2 and a 5, they
must add these numbers together. The student with the
highest result wins all of the cards for that hand! If
there is a tie, have students draw two more cards for a
tie-breaker. The game ends when one student has all
the cards or time runs out.
Αctivity 4: Count the tasks:
- 5 roses grew in the backside. The gardener has
planted 7. How many rose bushes? - You had 1 apple. You were presented with another
- How much do you have apples now?
- It rained two weekends and 9 weekdays this month.
How many days has it rained this month?
Αctivity 5: Open the Scratch program.
Open the file with the program
Check your tasks with the program.
Αctivity 6: Look at the program. Change it so that it is
not addition, but subtraction of numbers.
Use the program to calculate the problem: you had 10
dollars, you bought ice cream for two dollars. How
much money do you have left?
