Students get acquainted with birds. They build 3D models of feeders, houses for birds and different species of birds. Present their bird.

Description

Αctivity 1: Discussion with students: What birds do you know? What birds do you often see in your yard, in the park? What kind of birds have you only seen on TV?

Did you hear familiar sounds?
Αctivity 3: Using library resources, find information about your state bird, including its characteristics, habitat, feeding, and geographic range. What physical characteristics provide advantages for survival in its ecosystem?
Αctivity 4: Discussion:
Where do birds live? How do they build their nests? What do birds eat? What shouldn’t they be given to eat?
Αctivity 5: Let’s first build a 3D model of the bird.

Αctivity 6: 3D model of the bird

  1. Prepare the 3D pen. Connect it to your computer.
  1. 550
  2. Press the “On” button and wait for the handle to heat up.
    Warning! Don’t forget about safety! Do not touch the end of the 3D handle.
  3. Choose any layout and create a 3D model of the bird with it

  4. Draw a sights with a 3D pen.
  5. When done, turn off the 3D pen.

    1. Prepare the 3D pen. Connect it to your computer.
    2. Press the “On” button and wait for the handle to heat up. Warning! Don’t forget about safety! Do not touch the end of the 3D handle.
    3. Build a bird feeder


    4. Draw a sights with a 3D pen.
    5. When done, turn off the 3D pen.

  5. When done, turn off the 3D pen.
