Main Idea

Students learn what a globe is, a map, geographical coordinates. They will remember the continents, oceans, mountains. With the help of 3D handles build a collective 3D
geographical map of the Earth.

and discuss with the teacher what is a planet,
a map, a globe, geographical coordinates and more.

Αctivity 3: The teacher brings students together into groups
and distributes continent names.
Αctivity 4: Students discover maps and get to know their
continent: what are the mountains, rivers, lakes and more.
The students share responsibilities: who will draw the outline
of the continent, who is the lake, who is the mountain …
Αctivity 5: Students should draw a 3D pen with their contents
and their known geographical features.

  1. Prepare the 3D pen. Connect it to your computer.
  2. Press the “On” button and wait for the handle to heat
    up.
    Warning! Don’t forget about safety! Do not touch the end of
    the 3D handle.
  3. Draw a 3D outline of your objects
